Data Infrastructure Observability Engineer

Description

The Observability and Data science infrastructure team in Finaro supports the creation of scalable and highly reliable observability data science infrastructure for the various teams in the organization. Using cutting edge technologies, such as Elastic stack, TICK Stack, AppDynamics, Loom, Grafana, Kafka, RabbitMQ etc.

The team enables live end-to-end observability for Finaro’s services deployed to Self-owned Data centers and cloud providers (AWS, GCP), in addition to AI and Machine Learning infrastructure for our Data scientists and analysts. 

We’re looking for an experienced DevOpsData science infrastructure engineer to join our team and take part in designing, building, implementing, and maintaining our super scalable & automated data infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement modern observability tools to provide a reliable and holistic view of Finaro’s services.
  • Help and support engineering teams by providing new initiatives and top-notch solutions for their wishes on all observability aspects.
  • Understand scalable and distributed systems, troubleshoot and tune these complex systems while automating everything we can.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Linux operating systems – A must.
  • Proven code and scripting, Python, Bash, Ruby, etc. – A must
  • Experience in Big Data and No-SQL databases and tools, such as ElasticStack, Splunk, MongoDB, CouchBase, Hadoop, InfluxDB, etc.
  • Experience in Message queues, such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, Pub-Sub, etc.
  • Experience working with cloud providers GCP and AWS
  • Automation and code management tools, such as Jenkins, Gitlab, Ansible, Rundeck, etc.
  • Experience in Linux operating systems, such as CentOS, Redhat, etc.
  • Implementation and maintenance of advanced monitoring tools, such as Tickstack, InfluxDB, Grafana, Kibana, etc.
  • Experience with Monitoring and log analytics tools (Nagios, Prometheus, Graphite, Grafana) – Big advantage
  • Docker and Kubernetes – Big advantage
  • Previously worked for a near real-time processing company preferably Fintech – Big advantage.
